Manuel Castañón-Puga
I was born in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. I studied Industrial Engineering and obtained a Master's in Computer Science from the Tijuana Technology Institute. Later, I completed my Ph.D. at the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California in Mexico.
I work as a Full Professor at the Chemistry and Engineering School at the Universidad Autonóma de Baja California in Mexico. My primary areas of expertise include computer science and software engineering, and I teach these subjects to undergraduate and graduate students.
I am also a member of the Researcher National System (SNI) of the National Council for the Humanities, Sciences, and Technologies (CONAHCYT) in Mexico.
As the leader of the "Complexity and Computation" academic group, I am responsible for coordinating the "Computational Modelling and Complex Systems" academic collaboration network.
